A documentary observation of the creation of a play. Six very different stories of Shoa survivors. A search for the answer to the question: Where is there a place for Shoa witnesses today? All our contemporary witnesses were children during the Holocaust. All the actors are present-day Frankfurt schoolchildren between the ages of 15 and 17. The project lasted over 8 months. Almost as many participants stayed behind the scenes as on stage. How to transfer to the stage what we as witnesses could only witness with our presence? How do you avoid a situation where the interviews themselves become a trauma for witnesses and for performers? And should this be avoided? How can life experiences be transferred to the stage? How to tell what was not said a word about and yet we heard it?
