KINOBRIGADA film production and open collaborative platform founded by Anatoli Skatchkov in Berlin in 1997 and moved to Frankfurt am Main in 1998.
Anatoli Skatchkov (aka Nathaniel Knop) Film director, producer. Born in 1968 into a Jewish-Chinese family in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. Studied psychiatry. Postgraduate studies as a film director. Assistant director to A. Kaidanovsky and K. Zanussi. Came 1997 to Berlin as a Nipkow Fellow (The NIPKOW PROGRAMM – European fellowship for professionals in audiovisual media). He has worked for the TV channels 3SAT and ARTE, for museums. He lives in Frankfurt am Main with his wife and 5 children.
Over the years it has collaborated with many film professionals, established and emerging artists, and writers such as Michel Butor, Ketevan Dolnikova-Hahn, Nadja El-Hagge, Andrey Filimonov, Andrzej Klamt, Valentina Knežević, Sonia Knop, Nikita Khokhlov, Irina Koublinskaia, Jean-Claude Marcadé, Mario Morales, Ernest H Papier, Peter Rippl, Anton Savov, Andrey Shabashev, Livia Theuer, Raghunath Vasudevan.
